Before shipping, all items are included with insurance: All major carriers provide free coverage up to specific amounts against unwanted situations. Items can also be insured for their declared value, but for higher-value items, carriers typically have limits. You can contact us to learn more details.
Chefsdeal.com will accept no responsibility once your merchandise leaves our or the manufacturer's warehouse. All Damage Claims will be handled by the customer and the Freight Company. However, we will assist you with the paperwork during the process.
The products sent from our warehouse usually ship within 5 business days of the funds clearing (in many cases, much faster). We will notify you once your merchandise has left our warehouse, and you will receive a tracking number. Once the tracking number is provided to you, you can obtain further details from the carrier.
The products are usually shipped from our manufacturer's warehouse within 3 days. However, certain items that may be out of stock can take up to 4 weeks to ship, and due to the current supply chain shortage, this timeframe may be extended. In this case, we will notify you of the estimated shipping date. Additionally, we will follow up and provide you with the tracking information once your merchandise has been shipped.
Standard packaging of an item typically involves placing the merchandise on a pallet, securing it with straps, shrink wrap, or bubble wrap, and affixing the necessary labels. Standard Packaging Will Not include additional crating or boxes constructed. These services are available at an extra cost.
The delivery will be made to your curbside, and the buyer will be responsible for moving the merchandise to the desired location from the curbside. The drivers are not responsible for assisting with the unloading of your merchandise.
You will be charged a 9.25% sales tax for the items shipped to Tennessee.
Shipping Methods: We ship the merchandise via ground shipping.
Shipping Time: We inform you of the shipping time by email, text, or phone as soon as we get the order confirmation.
Shipping Cost: You can view the shipping cost for each product during the checkout process. Please be aware of the shipping cost differences for each product due to freight.
In some cases, specific locations may be considered residential areas, even when the shipment is made to a business. In this case, there will be a slight difference in the shipping cost. The buyer will be informed, and this will be reflected in the buyer's actions.
If the shipping address is restricted or has limited access, additional fees may apply.
Free Shipping: Free ground shipping is available on select categories and products labeled as "Free Shipping" in the 48 contiguous United States. Please call us for details.
Free shipping doesn't include lift-gate assistance, inside delivery, or shipping under special conditions, such as expedited shipping.
Call Before Delivery:
Changing Shipping Address: If a shipping address change is requested, the shipping fee may be adjusted, and carriers may incur additional charges. We will contact you via text or email and inform you about the extra cost.
Redelivery: Please note that a redelivery charge applies if the initial delivery is unsuccessful.
Split Shipment: A large order containing multiple items can be split due to changes in stock, different shipping locations, or customer requests. Therefore, customers receive their orders in multiple packages on other days. Please contact us for details.
Quick Shipping: Available on products labeled as "Quick Shipping". Please call us for details.
International Shipping: We do not ship outside of the contiguous United States. Items can be shipped to an international forwarder.
The brokerage fees are the buyer's responsibility and will be added to your shipping cost.
If you would like to use your broker, you will be responsible for arranging all shipments and notifying us accordingly. The customer will be responsible for faxing and/or emailing a completed copy of the Bill of Lading to us, allowing us sufficient time to arrange the shipment.
If the items are to be shipped by a freight carrier, the purchase will be delivered to the deck of an international forwarder's location. The buyer will be responsible for arranging the freight forwarder.
Lift-Gate Service: Since most items are heavy, you may need a lift-gate for delivery. If you don't have a loading dock or trailer access, please contact our sales representative to obtain a quote.
Please be aware that drivers don't have any responsibility during the unloading process of the equipment from the truck.
Chef's Deal has its delivery trucks, and we make regular deliveries in the Middle TN area. In some cases, we have performed deliveries with our staff to other states, including GA, KY, AL, MS, FL, SC, NC, and LA. If you have a large quantity order, this method might be a better option for you than shipping. Please feel free to discuss the details with your Sales Representatives.
Check all shipments outside for damaged/missing/lost items before the driver leaves. Do not let the driver rush you!
Ensure that all boxes containing equipment and parts are accounted for.
Check all equipment from top to bottom after you open the boxes.
If your order is completely damaged, don't sign papers and refuse the delivery. Instead, please take pictures of the damaged item, take notes, and contact us as soon as possible for the return process.
>During the assessment, if you find any damage such as dents, dings, creases, or holes:
All items are checked before shipment in our warehouse or the manufacturer's warehouse, but damage can still occur during transit. When you note the damage on the delivery bill and sign it, we can then apply to the carrier for reimbursement. However, if you sign the receipt without noting the damage, we cannot guarantee any compensation for the assessed damage.

Refrigeration units containing a compressor, Freon, and oil must be transported in the upright position only.
Please notify us in advance if you have multiple items or a large order to pick up from our warehouse.
Please Note: Due to limited warehouse space, items not shipped/picked up within 10 days will incur additional storage fees. The fee is $50.00 per item per month, and it must be paid in full before any merchandise can be shipped from our warehouse.
At Chefsdeal.com, we have full-time technicians who perform installations on a wide range of equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, fryers, stoves, and furniture, among others. We do service our customers in the Middle TN area. If you require installation for any equipment you purchase, please get in touch with your Sales Representative to learn how we can assist you with the installation process. No installation is included in the purchase price of the equipment. Installations are performed at additional costs.
